It has been 5 months since the new contract was ratified, and no new contract books are available. The Teamsters Costco negotiating committee and local union leadership have not even made the new contract available online.

Costco employees ratified a new 3-year contract in April 2019. The new agreement will be in effect February 1, 2019 through January 31, 2022.

The printing of the Costco contract books can usually take several months. Costco business agents have mentioned at the August General Membership meeting that the books will be printed but no dates were given as to when.

Costco employees can access their old contract on the Costco.com and scroll down to the bottom left and click on the employee site. Once you click on the employee site you will be required to create a login. Once logged in, you can access your old contract and view Payroll and Schedule.

The Labor Management Reporting and Disclosure Act of 1959 grants certain rights to union members. Title 1 section 414, Bill of Rights of Members of Labor Organizations,grants union members the right to have a copy of their collective bargaining agreement. Costco employees still pay their union dues every month—so they should expect their Teamster leadership to continue working for them.
